Shawnee County, Kansas Warrant Search
Shawnee County warrants are subject to the Kansas Open Records Act (KORA), K.S.A. §45-215 et seq. As a result, warrants are considered public, with certain exceptions. Generally, disclosing that a warrant has been applied for or issued and revealing the contents of an unexecuted warrant’s supporting affidavit or testimony is considered criminal disclosure of a warrant, classified as a class B non-person misdemeanor under K.S.A. § 21-5906.
